I decided firmly in my heart that I am reciting Ayat ul kursi and Allah Subhanawo Taa’la will protect me. I started reciting Ayat ul Kursi and entered the jungle. It was extremely cold, foggy and the jungle was full of wild beasts. I did not stop reciting Ayat ul Kursi for even a minute.

With the blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanawo Taa’la I was able to reach home safely.

Respected Hazrat Hakim Sahib, Asalamoalaikum! May Allah Subhanawo Taa’la bring barakah and increase your knowledge, practice and life. Aameen summa aameen. Hazrat Hakim Sahib, I wish to narrate an incident to you. Last Ramzan, I had developed a habit of reciting Surah Baqarah while preparing for suhoor. Alhamdulilah, my husband is an Imam in the nearby mosque. It was 2:00 am that night when my husband woke me up and went to the mosque. I started preparing food for suhoor. The house that we live in was built before the partition of Indo-Pak.  A night earlier, something had fallen off from the roof and there had been no electricity in the house throughout that night. I went in to my kitchen during the day a couple of times and did not pay attention to anything in particular. As usual, Qari Sahib (my husband) had gone to the mosque to awaken the neighbourhood people for suhoor by announcing on the speaker. There was no electricity at that moment. As a regular practice, I was reciting Surah Baqarah and makinf food for suhoor. I was wanted to prepare and serve everything before Qari Sahib would come as there was little time left and we both had to fast for tomorrow. I went out to keep a few things in the refrigerator. As I came back to the kitchen, I was shocked to see a large snake hissing beside my sitting stool. I wondered for how long it had been sitting there. If I had not seen it and mistakenly moved my feet towards the stool, the poisonous snake would have easily bitten me. I live in Saidhari, a village in Gujraat. We live here because Qari Sahib is an Imam at a mosque in Azad Kashmir. I have never been to anyone’s house in the neighbourhood but all the women visit my house to meet me. That day I was so helpless that I had to go to the house right in front of mine. I went there and asked uncle to come and kill the horrifying snake at my place. He immediately went to the mosque and brought Qari Sahib along. When we went back in the house, the snake was sitting there in the same position. My husband and uncle from the neigbourhood managed to kill the snake after much difficulty. Allah Subhanawo Taa’la saved mine and my unborn child’s life due to the blessings of Surah Baqarah. I also regularly recite masnoon duas for morning and evening time and wish for the betterment of each human being that belongs to the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).

Safe Return from a Dangerous Jungle

Respected Hazrat Hakim Sahib, Asalamoalaikum! I am a resident of Kohat. Once a religiously inclined relative came to our place and asked me to bring a magazaine called Ubqari which is published every month. I went to the book stall and got the magazine for her. When I started reading it myself, I found it very interesting. Next month, I went to fetch the fresh volume which I finally got hold of after paying three visits to the book stall. This magazine is so marvelous that one would fall short of words while praising it. Now, I anxiously wait for the next volume of Ubqari every month. I am going to pen down an interesting incident related to Ayat ul Kursi exclusively for the readers of Ubqari. Two to three years back, I went to my training school by the name of A.S.T in Barian which is situated at a distance of 10 kilometers from Murree. I had some important work to do and it was almost 11:00 pm. It was winter season. I left that place but found no vehicle on the roads. I was thinking how I am going to make it on time as I also had to come back. I was reciting Ayat ul Kursi. I had to walk a few miles towards Ghora Gali. I was able to find a Suzuki over there. There is a place called Kaali Miti from where a thin way heads towards our school. That way passed through a thick forest and would be as long as approximately five kilometers to my home. It was 12:00 am already. Many people had witnessed lions, cheetahs and other wild beasts roaming in the jungle at daytime. It would be equal to committing suicide if anyone who knew about the dangers involved with the jungle would still be ready to go through it. I decided firmly in my heart that I am reciting Ayat ul kursi and Allah Subhanawo Taa’la will protect me. I started reciting Ayat ul Kursi and entered the jungle. When I told about this incident to my family members, they were amazed at first and later got angry at me for taking such a risk. Sometime later, I was crossing that jungle at daytime with a few of my friends. I said if I tell them something unbelievable will they trust me? They insisted me to tell them what I was talking about. I told them that I had been through this forest on foot at 12:00 am. They were all shocked and flabbergasted to know that. I can tell you with my experience that if you recite Ayat ul Kursi, no power in this world will be able to harm you ever InShaAllah. (Jaan Muhammad Khan – Kohat)
